Several years ago, we began receiving customer requests for all the feathers and hard to find colors from a rooster for displaying in the tying area. To meet customer demand, Conranch started processing full rooster skins.

Unlike taxidermists who offered mounted roosters from $250 to $400 and up, Conranch felt that the cost of the mounting was not something we wanted to pass on to our customers. We preferred to offer full skins from premium roosters, priced from $100 to $250 each.

We will display photos of each skin here on this Conranch Specials page, including grade and price. Since these full skins seldom last long in our inventory, Conranch maintains a Wish List for customers who are willing to wait for that perfect, once-in-a-lifetime color. You may contact us with your request and be placed on a waiting list. We will raise the rooster just for you! When the rooster is ready, we will contact you for payment and shipping.

Occasionally, Conranch may have a full skin of an exotic pheasant, such as a blue ear, a red golden or perhaps even a true silver. Again, if you desire feathers like these, please contact us and we will do our best to acquire these skins for you.

We cannot photograph all the various shades and colors found in our hackle capes, saddles, full hen and rooster skins. If you want something special, please let us know. We may have it in stock, or it may be waiting in the barn to be processed. We would be happy to process these birds just for you!
